FURTHER is an interior design firm founded by Tsubasa Maeda, who has experienced in New York. Focusing on interior design, we are engaged in a wide range of designs including graphics, products, and branding. The company name “FURTHER” means “beyond”, and was established with the idea of “a team that thinks further ahead” based on his previous experiences. We actively engage in IDEA EXCHANGE with international designers together, and create “NEW” from different cultures and thoughts. We solve the gap between Japan and overseas with our communication and design, and create a more valuable space.

Our design communication with overseas has been highly evaluated, and we have been involved in many international projects for more than 10 years. We becoming a direct partner with the client and coordinating each related party.In global projects, we will cooperate with the optimal team structure according to the situation, such as project control standing between the partner of the client in the home country and local clients.

We are able to be a directly partner with clients and design PM operations both domestically and internationally. We provide comprehensive support from design to construction.

Case of projects by international HQ, if there are prescribed Global Partners or Master Designers, we will proceed with the project with local clients on their behalf.
PROFILE
Tsubasa Maeda is founder of FURTHER Inc. which works for interior design project internationally. He moved to New York in 2014, after working for a luxury brand of re-branding project in design office, in Japan. In New York, he was enrolled in De-Spec, a US design office that handles projects around the world. In addition, he worked as a self project locally such as TOMORROWLAND New York, located in SOHO, which is the flagship by one of the famous Japanese fashion company. Established FURTHER Inc. in 2019, after returning back to Japan. Taking advantage of his international work experience, he designs luxury boutiques, lifestyle shops, high-grade offices interiors, and project management at Japan and international. Furthermore, he has broadened his activities in a wide range of fields such as branding of companies and products.
